This Privacy Policy explains how Bolo Ji collects, uses, shares, retains, and deletes information when you use the Bolo Ji Punjabi learning app and related services.

Information We Collect
- Email address and account credentials needed to create and secure your account.
- Lesson progress, completed lessons, and app state needed to provide the learning experience.
- Subscription entitlement information received from RevenueCat, Apple App Store, or Google Play, such as product ID, entitlement status, store environment, renewal status, and expiration dates.
- Technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as request metadata, server logs, device platform, and error information.
Information We Do Not Collect
Bolo Ji V1 does not include advertising, social features, microphone recording, pronunciation scoring, contact access, location tracking, or third-party ad tracking.
How We Use Information
- To create accounts, authenticate users, and protect access.
- To provide lessons, save progress, and support offline-first learning.
- To verify subscription access and enforce the first-five-lessons-free access rule.
- To troubleshoot, secure, maintain, and improve the app and backend.
- To respond to support, privacy, and account deletion requests.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service, process subscriptions, comply with law, protect users, or respond to valid requests.
Service providers may include:
- Fly.io for backend hosting and database infrastructure.
- Tigris or compatible object storage for public lesson content.
- RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management.
- Apple App Store and Google Play for native subscription purchases.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user information, including encrypted transport, hashed passwords, server-side refresh-token storage, and restricted operational access.
Retention
We retain account and lesson data while your account is active. After account deletion, we delete or de-identify account data unless retention is needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, financial reporting, dispute handling, or backup recovery.
Account And Data Deletion
You can delete your account in the Bolo Ji app settings when signed in. You can also request account and associated data deletion at /account-deletion or by emailing support@boloji.app .
Children
Bolo Ji is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised last updated date.
